Albion v Liverpool

FA CUP - FOURTH ROUND

Venue:
The American Express Community Stadium
Date: Sunday 29th January 2023
Kick-off: 13:30 GMT
Referee: David Coote
Assistants: Darren Cann, Simon Long
Fourth Official: Simon Hooper
VAR: Neil Swarbrick
Additional VAR: Scott Ledger

Adam Lallana and Levi Colwill will be missing as Brighton seek a repeat of the 3-0 victory they secured against Liverpool at Amex Stadium just two weeks ago.

Moises Caicedo will not play after being told to take time off until after Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Jurgen Klopp could persevere with a midfield trio of Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Stefan Bajcetic, after they helped the Reds get clean sheets in their past two games.

Fabio Carvalho, however, has not trained this week and is unlikely to feature, while Nat Phillips has also been suffering with a heavy cold.

Going to be more tricky than the PL game. Klipperty finally got the balls to play his talented young guns.

Caicedo not in the squad and Tross/Caicedo bollocks showing a bit of lack of harmony in the camp

Still think we've got enough to get the win over the line.

West is BEST
Will get to watch this game as I have a day off. I don’t care much for the cup but nice to be able to see a match and not just highlights.

I have a distinct lack of enthusiasm for this game at the moment with all that’s going on. Hopefully that will change once I’m there
Same. The whole Caicedo thing has really put a dampener on it for me, and I was really hoping we might have a proper go at the cup this year. Ho hum.

Does anyone pull Liverpool's pants down 3 times in the same season?

Hopefully Bournemouth will be a better experience.

Hoping the boys rise above the Trossard/Caicedo shenanigans and make a big statement here. I can imagine Dunky, Gross and a few others being really up for this game. Here's hoping.
One way or the other I reckon. My fear is that the team will share the low mojos here and put in a flat performance. Hope you're right and they play a blinder. Either way, like others, my enthusiasm level right now for the match is very low.

At the end of my tether
Does anyone pull Liverpool's pants down 3 times in the same season?”

I have to say that I have been thinking that..... They will have learned from the last encounter. However, I am often wrong so maybe we stuff them again. Let’s rally the troops, gee ourselves up and prove that we dare still a good team without Mr M C !
