Watched game live on tv in Mexico but no internet access at the time. Sorry not to have been there but so happy for you lot that were. Hope the fan who bought my ticket enjoyed it as well!

It was an utterly incomparable spell of bad luck (incompetence).
For me the own goal and the sending off the highlights.
Somebody on here once charted The Hawk's magnificent 90 second cameo as sub: a diagonal jog in a straight line from the touchline at the halfway line to the portacabins at the corner flag, pausing only long enough to concede a penalty and get sent off :lolol:

Adams MKII first signing. Seemed relatively positive on paper. Things went downhill from there for both. Adams was a totally different manager by then. Totally clueless.

Get yourself an Albion Membership, and come join the party then! All welcome, and we have a rich pedigree of Irish players past and present. My in laws on the Emerald Isle keep an eye out for us since I married into the family, and love our Irish connections similarly. Albeit seems to be standard in the south that you’re either Man Utd or Liverpool, no other clubs exist to support in the PL! ;)
My experience from living in Cork is that there are quite a few Leeds too. Probably from the Johnny Giles days.

There are def similarities out of possession but in possession Liverpool tempo is more sustained until lately at least. Brighton like to use tempo changes in possession and rotations so teams are constanly not finding any comfort in the rhythm of the game. Like slowing a team down and then suddenly playing super sharp football must be maddening to play against. It’s amazing to watch. Liverpool were demoralised in every phase of the game yesterday. the only pity about yesterday was end product especially from March and Mitoma. I know they both were mostly brilliant and March scored twice but the next level for Brighton is being ruthless when you are dominant. I felt Mitoma especially needed to release quicker or at least get his head up. For all the dominance at HT it was 0-0.
That next step for a team often coincides with finding a good striker…… who knows ? I hope that Ferguson is rested next game ….. just so he is not rushed.

I was at the pre season friendly in Athlone and you could just tell that season was going to be a disaster.

I saw the Liverpool coach, all branded up etc go to Gatwick after their annihilation. Do they send an empty coach to pick them up from the airport while they fly?
That's probably a better look than the ubiquitous 'Crawley Luxury' brand of coaches that we have down these parts.

Yeah my dad started supporting Leeds in the 60's when Bobby Collins joined from Celtic and Giles from Man United right at the start of the Revie days. There are plenty of Leeds fans about but they are all in their 30's or older.

Disappointing…Souness isn’t in his usual Monday morning TS slot….even worse it’s Keown…I was quite looking forward to Souness being challenged over his comments on RDZ etc

We do the same, taking the kit and match day stuff up.

Well clearly we are still under the radar in some parts of the media - morning off and watched sky sports football show all morning, London derby - Manchester Derby Newcastle Fulham … Ref Watch , WSL , SPL …. Over to reporter waiting for Klopp presser re Wolves , straight to Everton protests then at 12.45 after hours and hours of football we get to the Amex and just talk about Liverpool, barely two words about Brighton- zero analysis of Brighton moves just 5 mins analysing failings of Liverpool midfield.

Love to know what Lallana said to TAA after he cleared Solly's shot off the line. He ran forwards and cuddled him. Seen him do it before, can't remember the game, maybe Southampton where he's done similar.

It looks like he almost congratulated him.

'well done this time, but Kaorou is going to make you look like a right mug for the next 85 minutes'
