Agree with this and others who said the same. If we start Murray it will mean 70 minutes of deep defending and brown trousers, then bring on the quick fellas for the last 20 once the Scousers have forgotten they're in a football match and dropped their guard.

Andone would have been my choice, but not too upset - as Jonathan Pierce says in the OP, Murray will relish playing against a young or inexperienced out-of-position CB. With Gomez and Lovgren (sp?) injured, Murray will be smelling fresh meat!

I agree can't see Murray scoring against them unless he gets a pen or does van dykes missus.
