Yep, he looked okay at West Brom. I don’t see anything at training though, and ultimately if a player ain’t playing, that’s the only place to judge if they’re ready or not.

But I’m so frustrated with:
- A lack of a plan B eg a resilient strategy once we have a lead. Plus the Jahanbakhsh obsession .... why?
- A real lack of quality and pace in our squad. It’s killed CH and GP in their tracks. 9 EPL transfer windows. TB must sometimes question the work of those involved.

It’s killing us. If the pace and guile of that ££££ (wages and fees) Fulham front 5 can get a few more wins, we will likely drop. Costing TB untold losses.

Only just seen the highlights on MOTD. Well from that we played well in the first half, on another day could have been 3 - 0 up. Second half Leicester were much better than us although we were not terrible. We have to just take this one on the chin. FWIW i thought Maupay played well. Time may be running out for us but we are not down yet even if Fulham take the customary 3 points at Anfield tomorrow we will still not be in the bottom 3 and have a game in hand on them. There's still a glimmer of hope peeps. (Trying to be as positive as possible)

Very true, it’s always been my argument that fans don’t see players in training so can’t really judge them.

However, Trossard was awful tonight, I can’t think of an Albion player in recent memory who wouldn’t have been an improvement.

No, just that I think, because he's intelligent I expect him to be weighing things up as we get towards the end of the season and likely/possibly enter into discussions with Tony.

My summery is having watched us for over 46 years I look less forwards now than ever before. It's down to sheer frustration. We have a manager who must be so boring as a person no passion no anything to get the juices flowing, yes we play nice football but really where's the pride. Every game we spend the day waiting, and then what do we get? The same every ****ing week, followed by the manager saying the same every ****ing week, I've had enough.

Or 2-1 with that Lallana chance. We’re playing some wonderful stuff up as far as the penalty area, at which point we lose confidence and a plan.

After being distraught after conceding such a soft goal so late, I’m actually coming round a bit. Much better today with Lallana further forward. Maupay looked more effective and there were options.

What is a concern is the subs used. I thought Propper should have come on to add some physicality to a battle they got hold of in the second half and Izquierdo could then have come on the left. Worth a try, surely?

Mac was very good, but as with their goal, they were coming through the middle a little too easy. You can afford one or two making risky creative passes but losing possession, but you can’t have 4 or 5 and we definitely had Lallana, Trossard, MacA, Gross and Maupay 2nd half giving the ball up cheaply.

So - bring someone on for the tiring Lallana - Alzate or Moder. Or bring one of them on for the awful (tonight) Trossard, or for the slow Gross. Or bring them both on for those two players to provide Lallana with some young fresh legs to do the running for him. Replace Maupay with another of the strikers on the bench (Welbeck per se wasn't a bad choice but it didn't work out).
All sorts of options. The worst one, however, was hooking MacArgie. Again.

Delighted with first half but a very disappointing result. The worry is that it’s now three defeats in a row and the games aren’t going to be any easier from now on. We are definitely missing AW and SM as well as TL obviously. BV(Before Veltman) they were potentially three contenders for Player of the Season and the defence is more porous in the last few games.
I am concerned for the mood of the squad. With the previous two defeats we were completely to blame for missing chances. Tonight we just blew it in the second half - against a vg team true but you could see how deflated everyone was at the end(NSC too of course). GP mouthing FFS when the second goal went in was strong for him and others have said he went straight down the tunnel after congratulating BR. AL was very low in that post-match iview and I hope they can all pick themselves up again on Monday because we HAVE to raise our game again.
If we can only press for 60 mins then we must have an alternative strategy for the last 30.
I hope tm’s results don’t make us feel even worse - I’ll be interested to see how GP responds to the growing crisis. I hope they(and we) can recover our spirit and fight on to bring 3 points next Sunday - we’d feel a whole lot better again! Come on Albion - Keep The Faith!

It is incredibly frustrating to lose again like this but to say he has to go is to say all of the hard fought progress in our football patterns gets stripped out, deconstructed, started again, shattered, stopped dead. We’re on the right path. We just need a couple of finishers and some luck, for once.

In a parallel season when the goals just started going in early and a bit of luck went our way and with the confidence of 3 or 4 goal scorers, we could be 6th, 7th or 8th.

Let’s also acknowledge that Leicester are a very effective team with a lot of good, skilled, strong athletes in their team.

I'm running out of comments this season. It's just not good enough up front, we always look like you'll get your chance at the back. Wonderful football...but we look bust and dependent on Newcastle or Fulham having a worse season.

I thought Maupay and Lallana were excellent in the first half. Rogers is a very good manager though and corrected his system to press us and stretch us. I think they may have doubled up on our right hand side where we were getting quite a lot of joy in the first half.

Who was it at the club that thought putting us back in an all blue strip in our fourth season in the top flight was a good idea? WHO?

Mankind. Cursed to never learn from history.

Superstition aside, when the new strip was unveiled, the marketing tag line was “fine margins”. And how! Take tonight. Lallana’s header is two inches to the right and it goes in off the post and we’re 2-0 up at half time. But it didn’t.

This season is breaking my heart. It’s never an easy ride following this club but I can’t remember a campaign quite so maddening.

Very disappointing of course. But we were playing the second in the league team and would probably have drawn but for a howler by our normally dependable goalie.

After the way we played first half, there's every reason to think we can pick up some results soon. Especially if Lallana stays fit.

Dropped right off in the 2nd half. Probably deserved a point but it wasn't to be. Trossard an absolute waste of place

I do wonder what Alexis has to do to stay on the pitch.
