Trossard!

I am sorry but first half he was invisible and second half could beat a man, play a pass or stay on his feet.

If tau, or Izzy, or this new signing can’t get in in front of him then things must be bad. Leicester had a 19 year old playing today who a manager trusts.....

Potter has fantastic tactics but refusing to drop players out of form (Trossard, Burn, Maupay at times) and not injecting pace into the team (Izzy, Tau) is really draining. His substitutes are very poor IMO but his game management recently has been even poorer. Really not enjoying football at the moment, we play good/alright most games but always find a way to disappoint.
The tactics are shite we hardly ever win.

Subs should have happened on 75 minutes when we were tiring. I blame the manager for not reacting quick enough. Why bring somebody on with five minutes to go, the flow won't change then

Completely agree. You could see Trossard struggling, and Lallana. The lack of changes in the second half cost us dear, and a bad mistake by the otherwise faultless keeper. We lacked energy second half when we hadn't played for a week and Leicester had a midweek game.
It's going to be tough to stay up now.

Lallana was spent at 60mins and needed subbing, Trossard just didn't get involved at all, he seems to have got worse as the season has gone on. Biss was also below par again

Lallana was flagging and Trossard kept losing possession. Would have taken those two off. Why the **** AJ is brought on is beyond me!!!

AJ looks like a puppy dog. Deer in headlights. Nice chap but don't want him to play for us ever again. Pointless.

All the bench options and Potter made the worst decisions. Useless taking us down with a whimper.

Yes come on Swan boy tell why he made such poor subs it was awful 2nd half no changes to make the difference. Again playing a poor player on the left

Sanchez I love, a keeper will do that once a season..but why tonight? Tonight of all nights. Why can't it happen when we're two up? This season FFS.

He has fantastic tactics at the start of games sometimes but he's often slow to react to changes from the opposition.

Exactly. Our midfield was getting destroyed second half and Gross/Lallana/Trossard don't have the pace to cover when they get down the wings (which they did a lot). We needed someone next to Bissouma but instead we got Alzate out wide.. ?

Should have taken gross off early in second half and brought on moder to give us a bit of fire. We seemed to be playing with ten men in second half. Gross was absent

And Trossard - such a weak player - shrugged off the ball time and time again in match after match.

Hmmm. There was an awful inevitability about that. Start brightly. Check. Take the lead. Check. Rollover and concede. Check. Concede again. Oh. alright, check..

I'll keep watching but not convinced at all. Potter - aimiable but looks more clueless every match. Squad looks poor now compared to maybe 2 others in the PL - Sheffield U and WBA ( and they both took points off us).

****!!

Potter's post match comments. " It is what it is.' Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! If I hear that from him again......:shootself

How soon is now?
Lallana looked knackered at 60 mins. I can see why Potter kept him in, but from that point on he was a luxury. Not the greatest tonight from Trossard or Gross but at least we gave them a game. Shame about the second goal, but I think it was a penalty before that. All a bit squeaky bum time..

I’m at a failure to see how people would want a manager that yeah makes us play nice football, but it stops there I do not see him doing anything else other than getting some nice passing that leads to no where, same ikr tactics, teams, and results. All the potter in people will still say “He’s good for us!!!!” He’s not, he’ll take us down

I would love to know why the potter in crowd are the in crowd? Give me some reasons you think he should stay? 1 home win all season and 3 points off relegation.

1) We enjoy watching the team play

2) The team, despite false observations, seem 100% behind that approach.

3) Most people accept Albion simply have a finishing issue- which is a personnel problem.

4) Potter is an intelligent manager, a view promoted by most independent analysts.

5) Who else would we appoint ?

'Potter out' is a drop and run statement. It only has value if you can offer a sound alternative.
