Lallana is just absolute class.

Amazed by some of the comments on here about him recently.

This. A load of us defended him this week. Everything he does is forward thinking, that’s why he starred for England and in the CL.

He needs to start games. Hard for him to impose himself as a sub when we’re up against a ten man defence.

Lallana showing his quality.

This is why we need to start him and Welbeck, they both have such class we just need to get, then keep them match fit and sharp.

Hopefully we keep this up for the second half, its's also its great seeing Bobby Sanchez jumping through the air like Superman commanding his area.

Loving to see us getting stuck in. Have to hold our nerve and slick identity, hopefully to grab another and stroke that ball around with the tender love that's so wondrous to watch.
9 fingers crossed.

Excellent first half. Need to get a second, and quickly, because I can’t see Leicester being that lacklustre in the second half... :albion2:

Good half. Love the setup where Maupay is always making sure Ndidi is in a pass shadow, making their central defenders the playmakers often either playing it high and wide or complicated through balls to their other midfielders who are always in a number disadvantage. Sweet stuff. Will be interesting to see what changes Rodgers will do to counter it.

Seen a bit of criticism of Trossard - think that’s a bit unfair. In a new position for him he’s done well.

There have been some stray passes but as we saw sometimes with Webster, that will happen with a right footed player playing on the left, it’s very common.

Leicester will surely make changes to the way they are playing for the second half . I hope we can quickly adjust to nullify any advantage they start to get. I am hoping for a second goal for us to really settle everyone down and make sure of three points.

He's given the ball away a few times but his work rate to win it back straight after is top notch.

Absolutely. And it’s the way he moves the ball quickly, it transforms us.

Gross, Mac Allister and Trossard, as talented as they are, can all be a bit ponderous on the ball at times. Not Lallana, aways looking to move it quickly which makes us so much more dangerous in transition and on the counter.

Right, you know the script...
Great setup by Pots. Rodgers will respond.
Let's see how we do.
