Venue: Amex Stadium
Kick off: 15:00
Referee: Andy Woolmer

Team News:

Mauricio Taricco and Kazenga Lua Lua are both fit and available for selection for today's visit of the Foxes.

Joe Mattock could make his Brighton debut following his acquisition on loan from WBA. Jara Reyes is welcomed back to the Amex on a second loan spell this season and is expected to start.

Tommy Elphick and Gary Dicker remain long-term absentees, Marcos Painter misses out, whilst Sam Vokes is in line for his home debut.

New signings Danny Drinkwater, Wes Morgan and Nathan Delfonesco hope to be involved for the Foxes.

My prediction? An entertaining 2-2 draw, Buckley and Noone for the Albion.

Head-to-head
• These clubs cannot be separated after 24 competitive meetings; both have won 10, with four drawn.
• Leicester have only won three league games on Brighton turf. A fourth would complete their first double over the Seagulls in nine years.
• Brighton have only registered one home victory over Leicester since 1994.

Brighton
• 11th placed Seagulls, four points outside the play-offs, are one of four clubs still unbeaten in 2012 in the Championship.
• They have picked up 10 points out of 12, and have not lost any of their seven league and cup games in this calendar year, after ending 2011 on a four-match losing run.
• Gus Poyet's club are one of two to have conceded just once in the first 15 minutes of a Championship game this season.

Leicester
• The mid-table Foxes have won three and drawn one of their last four in all competitions, but in the Championship, they have only won two of the last nine.
• Three points will give Leicester their third double of this Championship campaign, having already notched home and away victories over Southampton and Crystal Palace.
• Jermaine Beckford has scored six goals in four games for Leicester (all comps).

Reading between the lines of his twitter posts, Nooney is also likely to be fit if selected.

How effective is undersoil heating at reducing how hard the pitch will be? Big risk with players coming back from hamstring injuries surely if the ground is very hard so maybe one or both on the bench rather than starting?

On the plus side let's hope for a good result because we should be nailed-on for extended highlights on the FLShow tonight with so many games called off :)

BBC Sport - Brighton v Leicester

Pre-match, Team Guesses Thread.

About 62% for a home Albion win and less than 10% think that Leicester will win

BHA v Leicester City - Score Predictor

I don't know what is in Gus Poyet's thinking, whether he wants a go for the play-offs and pick up a point anywhere he can. Or whether he is trying to give the younger player's experience for next year.

Who will take the corners for the Albion? Buckley again?

My view: three points to day and we could make the play-offs. A draw (my forecast) and we could miss out on goal difference (unless we win at West Ham in the final run in).

Hope today isn't something of an anti-climax after the Newcastle and Palace games. Then again we have momentum on our side after January so maybe we can continue to ride that. Hope so.

Lets hope Vicente has smothered his legs with Deep Heat otherwise the cold will cramp his muscles , I wonder if they've given him a blanket today while he is on the bench ?
