Gone back to trying to walk it into the goal, the last pass should have been a shot, had plenty of these chances in the 1st half.
Back to Potterball again, going backwards, needs to stop that now.
Dunk taking free kicks is an admission of desparation.
Got to stop this whilst still early doors.
Could have been 2nd.

So 4 games in, unbeaten, 6 goals scored, 2 conceded, 2 clean sheets, played Arsenal & Man Utd and currently 3rd in the table, and we’re “shit”, “moronic”, “terrible”, “really, really bad”, oh and “Dunk can f**k off”

Nice!
This plus a lot of disrespectful 'should be beating teams like Ipswich' equivalents.

Funny old game football. Looking at our first 4 fixtures I thought our only 3 points would be ipswich H out of those. How wrong was I!

Astonishing entitlement from some legitimate fans who really should know better. Alongside the usual trolls and wind up accounts we all know are parodies (Mustafa, Dwayne, et al), it’s the good posters overreacting to a draw which irritate me.

We have no divine right to beat anyone. We are a young team, with several key players still unavailable, a new young manager. Oh and we’re unbeaten, having already played Arsenal and Manchester United.

Some of you need a reality check. Brighton have never won, well, anything. There is no expectation to do so either. Only hope and belief.

Some of the posts on here from users I normally respect have been atrocious and so entitled. If I were an Ipswich fan reading this I’d be just as embarrassed by the “teams like Ipswich” comments as I would be their ridiculous banner.

Calm down, onto Wednesday.

Oh come on. This entitlement tag rubbish has to end. We have just spent the highest net on transfers in the WORLD! Of course fans are going to think we can start beating newly promoted sides like Ipswich at home rather than seeing a carbon copy of peak Potter performances of possession domination and poor decisions in the final third, and I suspect Tony Bloom will be expecting us to win more of these types of games too for his very healthy investment,

Not the game I saw.

We tried a lot of shots (10 blocked), we weren't trying to just walk it in against a packed defence (a la Potter and latterly RDZ)
The passing around the box was much better than last season.
Towards the end of the game a lot of aerial crosses into the box, to try and mix it up.

Agree Dunk taking a free kick is absolutely mental.

We have spent the money on depth.
We haven't just signed prime Messi.

I didn't see too much wrong in the final third.
A hell a lot of missed opportunity on turnovers though.

Baleba and Ayari had a number of opportunities to put Mitoma in and messed up, either with poor execution or holding on too long.

Nine times out of ten we win that game so I am not worried. What was nice to see is us not going mad and pushing way to forward to try and get the win and then inevitably conceeding.
Yeah -

from about 70 minutes I thought the most likely scores were:

  1. 0-1
  2. 0-0
  3. 1-0

Our failing was not scoring in the first 65 minutes, when we had our best opportunities.

I didn't post after the match as I was still feeling like we'd dropped a couple of points, but having watched the overnight 30 mins highlights I'd say there was some decent play from the majority of Albion players, with a couple of slip-ups, and we were faced with a packed defence and a keeper having a good day. As said, I'll take 8 points after 4 games; it will be interesting to see how we get on against the Liverpool-slayers next Sunday

having watched the highlights. Mitoma’s rebound from Rutter’s shot wasn’t unlucky. It was a poor finish. Anywhere near the corner or lifted and it’s in and we go onto win comfortably

You do realise that spend was to maintain right? Not guarantee European football? It was to replace our huge squad outgoings and invest for the next few seasons with new prospects.
