Our best chance of winning it was really only in getting Sheff United, not because that is an easier SF for us, but having the 2 Manchester clubs potentialy in the SF, maybe the best chance of stopping Citeh who have as good as a bye into the final, no disresect to SU, but they aint as good as Burnley who were totally demolished.
Of course we live in hope!, but somebodies gotta beat Citeh and it wont be SU imho, after maybe the easier tie of the QF now, we will have to win it the hard way.
At least if its isnt us, the upside is extra europa league PL place

We were meant to be playing Citeh on that Sunday. Sheff U, Man U and Fulham on were meant to play on the Saturday.

I'm so excited by Ferguson and what he can achieve. I'm probably more excited by him than any of our other players, he's just so good and he's only 18.
I liked the little I saw of Ayari, good feet and seems very confident. Him, Ferguson, Enciso, Colwill, Sarmiento, Buenonote all 20 or under and all getting game time. If we can keep this group of players together over the next couple of seasons we could have a hell of a ride. (yes yes, it's unlikely/not going to happen yada yada)

On 19 October 2022, on his 18th birthday, Ferguson signed his first long-term professional contract at Brighton keeping him at the club until 2026
And probably with a +1 one year option, I would imagine.
Wouldn't rule out him signing yet another contract soon though. He's by far the most valuable player of his agency and they are of course rubbing their hands right now. Club might want to try to keep them quite happy by providing him with a new contract reflecting his new status in the team.
