I’ll talk things through if you want to out an argument calmly - but the team he picked dominated the game from 10-90 mins and just didn’t take chances / get that luck..? Don’t agree? So you thought it was a bad performance then?

You don’t get three points from dominating games and putting in good performances. You got to score look at his home recorded for goodness sake it’s truly dreadful .I don’t care about pretty tippy tappy I want three points against a bottom three team which we have failed to deliver

Just read the phrase “turgid rubbish”. It’s not though. It’s generally good stuff, just really lacking end product.

This little nugget from The Guardian report seems fair...

“They are both well drilled, neat, orderly and, when they enter the box, utterly powderpuff.”

The turgid rubbish was my comment, it related to Potter and his interviews. The point I was making he offers up so very little in a way of explanation of failure to putting the chances away. If he said the forwards are coming in for extra training or watching at length the misses. Or even having a video link with a retired top forward. We get nothing and he needs to remember he is representing the team to us the fans for which he doesn’t have a wonderful relationship with. He doesn’t take criticism but has handed it out towards the fans previously.

Very few fans have an issue with the style, we produce plenty of chances, yesterday 4 good ones in a period of 10 minutes. However we fail every sodding time. It’s the same every game, the fans have a right to ask why and expect an answer of how it will improve. Potter offers nothing iwhen asked. That is poor imho.

Fair enough. Apologies. I’d misread that as referring to what happens on the pitch rather than the press room.

Purely personally, I don’t expect any searing insight from a manager. The changing room/training ground is a mysterious, secretive world and we seldom get a glimpse behind the curtain. However, that’s just me and I absolutely appreciate that many quite reasonably expect more.

2 pretty good saves to deny certain goals though.

Can't really argue with Siddy's choice.
We played collectively well, but no stand out performances IMO

To be fair I think he was struggling with his choice..

Wasn’t the point I was making where you replied to with emojis though was it! Changed the subject. I think you need to chill and appreciate how hard this league is - Potter got it right last night for sure - you sent a load of laughs - how did he not get it right? We created a hatful of good chances - not his fault our finishing is poor / luck was out for me - but do tell what he should have done better? Seems to me you’re just blaming the manager as it’s the easy option - Potter has got a number of things wrong before and has frustrated myself - but not last night - he cannot be blamed for me...

It’s the managers job to inspire the team . He picks the team . One sub on 85mins and we get propper and you think he got it right ?[emoji23].The buck stops with the manager that’s how it is .You want to chat about ash worth etc and the poor recruitment then ok , has that played a part absolutely.I’m really chilled just makes me giggle how a few can’t see “The woods for the Trees “ as my old used to say

I think the ‘not his fault for the poor finishing’ argument is no longer valid. His job as manager is to recognize players weaknesses and develop a programmer to address the same. If the players are not able to improve their performance then they need to be dropped. Potter needs to know that he cannot take my loyalty for granted.

I suppose that 0-0 was a predictable result after the Albion ended the run of 198 league games at the Cottage without a goalless draw. In my head I'm replaying our chance in the 91st minute, but with Loftus-Cheek blasting it into the top corner instead of at your keeper.

Probably more time than on MOTD

Just simply no, no it isn't. It's the same shite every game, the same basic chances missed. the same inane crap from the manager at the end. Nothing ****ing changes it's shite turgid same rubbish. Potter needs to stop the sucking teeth shite and start asking questions. I've seen a bowl of porridge more interesting

i find it extremely exciting, the finishing is an extremely, disappointing, anti-climax; but, fuk me, have you already forgotten the incredibly tedious hughton hoofball, that the norwich fans warned us about? we didn't score many then, with glen murray!

Re-read what I posted it's the same turgid rubbish from Potter offering no explanation for yet again failing to win one game at home
