That was positive for me tonight. It took a world class keeping performance from Areola to deny us 3 points.

Far better performance than the weekend. Maupay and Trossard guilty of not taking their chances sadly. Potter couldn't have done any more tonight.

How can you assert that those on the bench were more likely to score than those on the pitch. Football is unpredictable, you can't say that bring subs on will make things better, we've all seen the reverse on numerous occasions.

You’ve got a good point there- I was thinking gross is tiring so potter should get fresh legs on but he was playing really well so glad he kept him on

He still has 5 years left on his contract , we can’t afford to pay him off

Well, if he’s really as good as he’s supposed to be then there will be a queue of clubs hunting him down........ we will, able to get millions in compo.

But mate we play lovely football and its not the fault off the coach who is paid loads to coach them how to put the ball in the net

We should be so happy we haven't won at home all season as our football is easy on the eye :lolol::lolol::lolol::lolol:

If in the Premier League we need our Head Coach to coach Premier League players how to shoot on target I'd suggest the issue is with the striker not the Head Coach...

"Today Neil, Aaron, Andi, Leo and Danny we are going to learn how to kick the ball in the net"

And Sheff Utd get yet another spawny defected goal. What an unlucky night for us.

Do you reckon we'll ever get a slice of luck with a goal this season? We haven't once yet, have we? Unbelievable really. Like the scramble tonight. So typical of us that it somehow stayed out

Tonight confirmed to me that we have a very good manager.

The substitution thing is easy to criticise when the person doing so can fantasise the end result.

As a layman I was looking between 70 and 80 minutes thinking that there wasn't really a change I would make. They were creating openings. The keeper was thwarting us.

t's easy to say this and that would have changed things when you don't know the end product.

The squad is a survival team that plays good football. Sadly, if they do go down, they will be a genuine loss to this league.

I've learnt over the years that the manager isn't always the problem. It's hard for fans to accept because it makes it harder for them to feel better when there is no silver bullet.
So it was down to great goalkeeping and not poor finishing that we didn't win?

There you go abusing fellow supporters again for expressing their more than entitled right to voice displeasure at failing to score against a very poor bottom three side in 120 mins of football.

As for Porter. Had no idea how to change anything to try and influence a result tonight. Three strikers on the bench and your starters couldn’t score in brothels and the only sub is Davy Propper. Tells you everything you need to know about the quality of our manager.[/QUOTE]

what about all the chances that the strikers missed?

Frustrating as **** as normal. Maupay and Trossard should’ve scored, in the end we were lucky to get a point.

I'm not Potter out but the comments he made a few months back are proven to be even more ridiculous now.

Fans 'expect us to win just because we are Brighton, I'd like them to explain that to me'

You see Graham, when you play the 3 worst sides in the division at home, typically you win ONE.

Worst and most arrogant quote as an Albion Manager. I've been concerned since that and wouldn't mind if he went. He's neevr really bought into the history of our club. nice football but bloody hell he is bland. i also find watching us really boring now.

Yes but remember, we write off away games against these sort of teams! Seemly we can never win so we set up our team to win games against teams lower than us...oh hang on......

Thought we played okay. “Just” missed every chance -again.

Naylor is astounded that fans are calling on Albion to sign a striker when they are losing money. Fans are aware that not scoring goals could result in a much more expensive relegation.
