The central argument now is between those who blame Potter and those who blame the players.
Yet again various players managed to miss fairly straight forward chances.
But, yet again, Potter seemed to react to things to slowly and you have to question why Connolly, Zeqiri, Tau or Lallana weren't bought on. Was he genuinely happy with a point?
It's somewhere between the two. Potter is VERY lucky to be working for a man like Bloom because he'd be gone at any other club IMHO.
I just don't really know what to make of it.

Potter should've gone weeks ago.
He is very, very lucky to be a manager of a premier league club.
Our home record under him says it all.

so remind me how many points are we behind the tracker now??????Two losable games coming up against Spurs and 'Pool ..whilst fulham have winnable games against WBA and West Ham. dont be surprised if we find ourselves in relegation by mid February :(

I don’t think anyone can defend Potter after tonight. With 15/20 minutes to go it was inevitable that if we don’t make attacking changes we do not win the game. If we had brought Lallana and maybe Connolly or Tau then still don’t win the game then fair enough but to not make an attacking sub and try and win the game, well it’s ****ing laughable.

Who else should he have picked, cos I'm pretty sure there was unanimous support for the line up tonight?

I was referring to all the players.

But, if I was pushing for a goal tonight, swapping Propper for Mac is not a move I would have made.

To be honest, he can pick any line up as the way he has got them playing we are so toothless and predictable it really doesn't matter.

At every chance we have, time stands still for me. I think “this is another one...will we score”, and ‘no’ has been the answer all night.

So frustrating.

How is it Potters fault if our players miss chance after chance?

And why the childish insult for him? Makes you sound like a dumbass kid tbh.

I explained perfectly well what I thought Potter should have tried with his bench because his players weren’t scoring. Has he seen Trossard play this season? The guy has missed sitter after sitter after sitter. What did he do tonight? Who picked him?

If posters can’t see how well we played hey ain’t worth it mate. Really good performance that. Totally dominant - just need to take chances. Trossard should pass - but great to see us dominating games again. Half time v Wolves was the turning point.

Some lovely football from us tonight. Shame some are so short sighted.

But week in week out it is the same thing. Played well. How didn't we score?

But we didn't score.

After a while it stops being just plain bad luck and it starts to become, well systematic.

Change the system.

Change the system??? We created 10 clear cut chances and the players on the pitch can't finish them...the system isn't the problem...sticking it in the net is the problem.

Every statistic says we create chance after chance and fluff them...you saw it tonight with your own eyes. We need a clinical finisher and we don't have one. We also aren't likely to sign one with the accounts we published...

So accept that we don't now have Murray to finish off the attacks, there isn't a simple solution

I ****ing hate watching us sometimes

We must be the most fustrating team in the league to watch. I'm sure fans of other clubs say it about their teams. But we really are.

And how many goals exactly have Conolly, Zequiri, Tau or Lallana scored?

We tore them apart in the first half and last quarter.

Sidwell couldn’t believe it how Trossard and his mates were missing sitters.

Potter orchestrated that great attacking play. Whilst the players just aren’t good enough under pressure at tucking away gilt edged chances.

Potter is the manager, he has to take responsibility for it.

If he came out and said that we've been practicing finishing for hours every day but its not improving, I'd have some sympathy.

Its our biggest weakness he has to solve it and the only way is practice, practice, practice.
