So, looking at heading down for this at short notice

Does anyone know when the park and rides actually open? The travel guide doesn't say just that they are full an hour and a half or so before.

I would be driving down from Marlow so could get there any time between 5 and 7!

Believe they open 3 hours before hand, so should be ok at 5.

Nice one - thank you. The wife gave me a very unexpected and late pass to go to the match. Would be rude not to bunk off work and head down!

Should be home to Reading by about midnight which isn't too bad

No, I knew he was going to go down as his only other play is to win a corner from a deflection, which he obviously wasn't going to do.

He poked the ball ahead of his own reach half a second before the defender triggered the tackle, knowing the defender would miss the ball and knowing that he can easily make any contact with the defender, go down and claim a penalty (legally).

As I said, he's got it down to perfection.
Genuinely hats off to him as he can read other players better than most.

I think you're being very harsh on LuaLua. I'm not his biggest fan but, at that point, he was in the best form he's ever been for us. As said above, the defender totally cleaned him out and there's no way he could have played for that

The only question was whether it was inside the box.

The ref hesitated, looked at the linesman who indicated nothing, heard 4,000 of us screaming for a penalty, and gave it.

Absolutely. Still think it was just outside but it's still not clear after replays so it must be impossible for a referee/linesman. Hard to feel too much sympathy for the defender as LuaLua was breaking into the box and, if he got past the defender, would have had a good chance to cross/shoot.

Watch the vid at 0.25 speed from 1:41.

Kaz pokes the ball out of his own reach @ 1:42 (wouldn't have been able to run onto it had the defender not come in - the keeper could have easily scooped it up or it would have gone for a goal kick) and draws the foul, knowing that he could make the slightest bit of contact with the defender and legally claim a free kick/penalty.

Like I said in an earlier post, he is absolute quality at doing this, no doubt about it.
I just don't like to see it every time he plays. That's all.

I know my opinion is unpopular, but

Half a yard outside.
It was half a yard outside. Slow motion and pause it at 1:42.

I'm not disagreeing with you on LuaLua generally, I just think you are being harsh in this situation. Except for an amazing start to this season, he has largely flattered to deceive in the Championship with a couple of good games followed by a few quieter ones.

However, in regard to him going down at the slightest contact, I think he does get targeted by the opposition (whether that also explains him having quieter games often) and fouled a lot. This may make him more likely to draw the foul.

Got a BAD feeling about this tonight, we are going to slip to a MISERABLE 1-0 loss and with Middlesboro and Burnley winning tomorrow then that is the end of AUTOMATIC promotion
Get lost with this shite man!

Suspect we may go quite defensive as they're strikers are decent? Though don't really want a repeat of the stresses at craven cottage .
I don't like the sound of that. I think their strikers can score whether we're defensive or not, I want us to go on the attack and out-score them, as they're defence is their weakness.
