Lallana was that bit of quality we have been crying out for, mooy gave it for a while last season, be such a shame if we don't see much of him.
Look like our ordinary selves again now.

I was going to suggest, with my tongue planted in my cheek, that Potter had sent them out there with the instruction to avoid scoring to put pressure on getting a striker in. But then I realised, this isn't any different to last season, if a whole season of not getting what our general play deserved because we weren't taking our chances wasn't enough to get a striker in for this season, what good would one more match do.

It’s more than just the striker. How many chances has Maupay ballsed, the one maybe? We got to realise that decent passing football doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of good chances created - that’s the dilemma of what Potter does

We see creating chances though. I think we look better than last year.

Cautiously optimistic about the season.

And the Maupay one. And Connolly not doing more at that near post early in the second half. And that Alzate one in the first half. And...

I'm the contrary, I don't remember Chelsea missing anything really. Hence we end up struggling, they end up up the top

ive concluded connellys issue is that hes useless off the ball, never seems to be in thr right position to receive the ball so gets lots of fruitless runs chasing a cross ball. needs to read the game better

Nestling in green nowhere
I’ve got to stop listening to Five live commentary.

Chris Sutton is such an arse licker.
