May be controversial but I'm not sure Maupay has the technical skills to play in this set up. I love his energy etc but there is an element of 'labrador chasing a balloon' about him!
Well I really enjoyed that overall. We look a very accomplished PL team with a lot of lovely football against a moneybags team.
If only we could put the ball in the bloody net and cut out the silly mistakes...!
Good half. Only gripe, March needs to stop passing back to Webster so often and drive on.
F***
That’s him done.
For how long I wonder?
We always seem to have that split second pause before putting in the cross or shot and allow the opposition to get the block in. Prime example was Solly then who beat his man brilliantly and then paused allowing the block.
Not good. BTW how are you watching this? I am on optus sport, great coverage except for the fake crowd noise, no way to turn it off. Cant stand it
This.
Even then Alzate has done okay. He’ll learn

Try R5 Live commentary. They are being really fair about our performance and have decent
knowledge of our players, management and Bloom’s ‘project.’ (Johnathan Pearce and Chris Sutton).
We don't look dangerous going forward we look toothless as per usual. Same old crap.1st half Observations
- We look a lot more dangerous going forward
- we are more fluid with AL (bollocks!)
- Back 3 have been caught out a few times but have recovered well
- White gives us another outlet with the decent long ball from out the back
- Apart from the mistake I’m liking Biss and Alzate in the middle
- March tidy performance
- lamptey excellent
