Much better 2nd half but too late to change the result.
Need a miracle.

I don't think anyone, including Bobtalian disagrees, PotS so far . . .but he's had an injury. In the interests of him playing for the rest of the season, 45 is enough.

I'd rather a good 2nd half than limp off at half time.

This was a must win game, he should had started if he's fit enough to play the whole second half time to try and rescue a 3-0 loss at half time.

If only Mitoma had gone down in the box early in the first half. Probably the one time he could have legitimately claimed a pen.

Hate to say it as I rate him and he got in some vital challenges in the first half and no-one was on hand to help him much for the (second?) goal.....but I wonder if that hooking could be a key moment in Webster's Albion career.
I have been saying for some time that I don’t think RDZ rates Webbo and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him move on in the summer.

Now we have a team playing against a low block - so we look more aggressive and impressive- getting one past those defenders though and beating Pickford will be very hard - we may wear them down but not likely to get back 3 points or even one I suspect.

RDZ btw said March was not at his best in training ( presumably due to fatigue) and Ferguson was still doubtful after his injury so giving them 90 minutes might not have been an option. Part of the starting assessment will need to protect players too - not just a simple case of starting our best.
I'll take Bozzas 1 point gained 2 points dropped thread today!

I was hopeful in the first few minutes of this half but it’s one of those days. We’re not scoring today. The players didn’t show up first half and now they have, luck has deserted us second half.
Not luck, unfortunately for all RDZ’s plaudits this season, today he got the starting line totally wrong as the second half has shown us!

Rubbish, if fit enough for bench, they can start!
if on the bench it could mean exactly the opposite- As said above, if they are not fit enough to do the full 90 then they could be fit for 25-30 mins off the bench - it’s a big difference of fitness and stamina level required.

Oh do shut up. If it want for his shot stopping we would have been 2/3 down against Man United .
Sanchez would’ve made those saves too though.

RDZ knows best on the merits and value of a keeper being better at playing out, but Sanchez really is the superior shot stopper.
