Well that was a pretty pointless first half.
Dunk to Duffy, to Webster, out to Größ, back to Webster, rinse and repeat.
So slow, no movement by AliMac at all, he's been entirely absent. Maupay needs help, he's looked lively but nobody around him making moves.
We need a bit more pace if we're going to take anything from this. I'm sticking with my 1-2 prediction.

Better second half and we can get back into this. Pass it around a bit sharper and we will get the chaces. They are well managed but aren't that much better than us (even splashing thr cash for a few years).

Disappointing goal to concede. I think both Webster and Sanchez could have done better with it. That said I've been impressed by Everton, they've given us no space at all to play in and close us down really quickly.

Potter's got some thinking to do.

Too many sloppy passes.

Everton look very tight and more likely to score, even before the goal.

We need a change at half time. Maybe bring veltman on for Gross and play a flat back 4. Welbeck for Trossard. Let’s see. Thankfully we are only one goal behind. A second for Everton and it’s all over.

Yeah Dunk isn’t going to ever be as good, consistently, on the left of a three. He’ll have good games but he isn’t the 8 out of 10 every game man that he is in the middle. Too many oval shaped pegs in round holes.
Potter can change things in the 2nd.

Potter totally reorganising back to 442, good that he saw how crap it all was
