In a League of their own…..with Leicester….. Maybe!

Not sure ... Leicester start with realistic ambitions of a Europa Cup slot (maybe better).

I've never regarded Everton as being good enough to seriously challenge up top, nor poor enough to be concerned by relegation. A bit better than West Sham, who probably do have one or more eyes on relegation at start

Must be a dull (and frustrating) life, being an Everton supporter

Be quite happy with a draw tbh. 7 points in the first 3 games is a good start.

Small club mentality

This is a must win game, when were we last in with a shout of TOP of the PL?

Time for a lie down and the desperate hope that Maupay is fit enough to start.

Being serious, I wait with bated breath for the meltdown on this thread when we go down to a soft early goal :lolol:

Everton never one of the sexier teams in PL but often underrated and always look decent when I watch them (on the sofa).

I would be very happy with a point - a 1-1 or 0-0 looks likely to me…

For everyone getting antsy about one of the Everton fans talking about our defense being susceptible:

a) For the first 18 months of Potter's reign, it was. C'mon it was

b) Their opinion is probably based on our games at Goodison where we have been dogshit. Our defensive performance up there last year hardly screamed dogged or resilient.

As for today's game, I'm desperately hoping for a win. Going into the international break joint top would be a magnificent moment for us. And the best bit is, wecan win. Nobody will be raising eyebrows if we beat Everton at home.

Come on the ALBION!!!

Actually not bothered about DCL with Duffy around.
Big test this but really winnable. Three from three would be amazing.

Same team as last week if Maupay plays is my reckoning with a 3-5-2.

Who is this Ricahrds who is on the bench? A singing that I missed?

Good to see Biss playing too...
