Respect to those driving down from Merseyside today, the roads are bloody awful. Drive carefully, Toffees.

It’s the ten-game mark where we the table will start meaning something, so hopes the lads make it look pretty tonight

Be interesting to see how the ref performs today. Been a big fan of the way he lets the game flow on the occasions I have seen him. He was the ref that spoke to the lino and correctly overruled an offside at the Amex last season. In theory, VAR should allow the step up of Championship referees to get rid of the deadwood (Probert, Friend, Moss et al) but Coote wasn't great last week and actually was overruled by VAR for the disallowed goal which maybe suggests that they aren't trusted.

So what we got, 3-5-2, 3-4-3 or 4-4-2 or I don't know?
Second half, if all is fine, sometime we'll see trossard for alzate, schelotto for montoya and march for either gross or propper. Sorry 'bout lack of capitals, but it's all speculation anyway!
