Palace, Wolves, Southampton, West Ham, Leeds, Newcastle, Norwich, Arsenal. All games we dominated but failed to win. Don't you see a problem?

Brentford, Burnley, Leicester - games we won we didn’t deserve to. You think we dominated the Southampton and West Ham games? You are at it, we stole a point at Southampton just as we did at Selhirst park.

We are almost exactly where we should be points wise.

Exciting game - should have won but could have lost. Agree with recent comments re officiating and post-match interviews by Gallagher and Butland and of course the wonderful GP. Lallana was really good until his injury but if he’s out for Tuesday I really hope Caicedo is in the mix because it’s a bit of a free hit in a game where getting anything is a bonus. I did love that by the end we really only had Webby and BDB as defenders but Chelsea are obv way better than CP.
Take the point and move on - we were by far the better team

The coach and team are unable to beat teams that set up defensively. I wouldn't expect us to beat all of them but 4 out of 8 would be reasonable, wouldn't it? At least 1 out of 8 would be an improvement. I mean, if we can only beat teams who attack us then give up the possession football and just kick the ball away.

Ok, so we’d be fourth then, you obviously had/have VERY high expectations.

I was watching on Sky and yet again I saw us dominating the game from start to finish and failing to win. At least we didn't lose this time. It's way past time the coach and players worked out how to convert possession into points.

I can understand how frustrated you are but blaming the coach is the last thing you should be doing.

He has this squad playing so far above where they should be..

The sky commentators this evening said we cannot get any better without a good striker.

What ****ing nonsense. I never felt Bailey should be sacked. He produced results. Your comment makes no sense at all.

It was a borefest but he did not deserve the sack. He did **** all after he got it though

Anyone who can compare Bailey to Potter needs to see shrink urgently.

Not sure you were one of them but maybe you should look at the comments on here when the team was announced. So little faith in our manager.

There are a lot of ***** who allegedly support this club, if that offends you, so be it. I don’t care

You miss the point. So ,any of the ***** you deride for bimg negative when the team was announced still feel justified in being disappointed sbout Gross' inclusion. We very much haven't been proved wrong, and have nothing that we should retract.

I'm going to back you up on this. Although we are terrific at the moment, it is wildly frustrating that the same pattern keeps occurring in matches at home against bottom half sides.

Total domination with no cutting edge then cough up a goal from the one time they go forward.

You can go for platitudes of "that's football", but it's clearly not just luck. It's a pattern which has repeated itself for season after season.

I just think we're a bit one dimensional and that's fine, I get we're not in the market for Mbappe, but you can start by playing your best available team, and we didn't do that today.

Blaming Potter for our inability to close games out is frankly moronic. We do have a few of them following rhe Albion.

Blame Bloom not the manager if you must blame anyone. Personally I blame no one and am loving the ride

What I’m getting at, you misery, is that you are being unbelievably negative in a season which is our best ever, in our history, results and performance wise. You will know the negatives of being a fan for the last 50 years, the 3-0 defeat to Rochdale in 1996 where we made Jason Peake look like Messi. Enjoy it FFS. We may never be this good ever again.

Are you really suggesting that Potter got it wrong after that first half performance?

Brighton factually.....
Bulls Head any night. I am the only Brighton fan here though amongst a population of Man Utd fans. I am quite passionate as a Brighton fan up here though. Brighton flags hanging out of my windows any time we beat Man Utd. They take it well tbf.

Now the Bulls head, nice pub.
actually he lives in Tyldesley, but it’s what 5 mins away, I used to live in Wigan & then Rusholme, god it’s tuff living up there surrounded by Manc’s & Scallies, especially when we were shite.:lolol:

Take care fella, and respect for flying the flag….

No you miss the point, the negativity was about the team selection. Gross missed the penalty but it was the TEAM selection that was being knocked, one player underperformed. The negativity was about the 11 players selected.

None of the negative comments suggested that it was just Gross’ selection that was the problem.

It was all about lack of pace in the side. Which was absolute bollocks

Have you even looked at the comments?

Great performance that. Would’ve cruised it if the pen had gone in. Shocker for Gross- hope it isn’t his last contribution for us given the transfer gossip.
We are incredibly hard to beat and awfully entertaining.

Agree we didn’t play our best team. But Lamptey was coming back from an issue that’s hampered his training and Welbeck, who knows? May be something still not quite right or just treading carefully as we try to get maximum minutes out of him in the long run.

The idea that Graham Potter just leaves out our best players for the fun of it strikes me as ridiculous. He sees the training, has all the fitness data and reacts accordingly.

Yes, sorry, I'm feeling and sounding negative this evening because, yet again, we have had 65 to 70% possession, numerous attempts at goal and failed to win. That's probably the 7th or 8th time this season and the 20th time in the last 3 seasons. It's our longstanding achilles heel.

This with big dongly cow bells, I really enjoyed that, great atmosphere, we literally dominated from start to finish.
I did not hear one negative comment after the final whistle, and then I came on here….

We’re probably going to finish with our highest point tally in the top flight ever, and people are friggin whinging….

Crack on….

Crack on whinge bags,

I’m happy though.

Seconded. Good game, we played some great stuff, had couple of excellent chances thwarted with a couple of very good saves. Good atmosphere from us for once, and even at 1-0 down I thought we’d get something. Team has so much character and determination you just knew they’d find a way.

Mac Allister was ****ing immense again. Won the ball so many times.
