Gross doesn’t have a great record of pens but that doesn’t mean going back to Neal - surely someone like Mac would be brilliant as a dead ball striker

I honestly think Sanchez would be a good choice and better than Gross for sure. He'd absolutely smash it.

BBC we’re scathing of him, what was he doing? He’s probably cost us the match. You could have guaranteed Gross ****ing up against Palace. We’ve still got his slip to come that leads to their goal too…

PLEASE take Gross off at half time! We’ve been brilliant with the exception of him, he’s all over the place. His positioning then for that Palace attack was laughable. He’s just not good enough, cannot for the life of me work out why he started. It’s like Stephens last season or two with us, almost picked out of goodwill.

What I don’t understand is that we have three players on the pitch that have scored their last premier league penalty and in Ali Mac and Maupay two players with top confidence and we let Gross take it. It’s just such bad decision making, not least because he missed his last one for us v WBA last season.
