You have to ask why we play high temp, high press, direct football against the better teams and then play this weird, ponderous tippy-tappy guff against the dross.

Can’t break down the block and when we do we make poor decisions.

Ben White shocking defending on the goal as well, the way he stood off that guy when they were running was woeful.

We fanny around passing left to right and back again as soon as the ball moves forward we over hit or miss hit it and put ourselves under pressure.

95% possession for Albion up to the goal, but when they scored, the first thing I thought was “that was coming”.
We are ultra vulnerable to a decent break, especially when we have the ball a lot.

Too early to decamp to that ridiculous “Who’s not worried about Fulham anymore” thread?

I just pray that all that Potter in gloating after the Liverpool game doesn’t create a stack load of humble pie.

Defeat tonight and we are bang back in trouble and we just seem incapable of beating the weaker sides under Potter.

I've gone from leaning forward, heading and kicking every ball, to slouched in the chair, grumpy as ****, downing beers. I hate football.

Same as that! I really don’t like football today.

Its becoming ever more desperate to watch, isn't it. Just knowing the likely outcome after a ridiculous amount of possession.

Absolutely, I know it seems excruciatingly defeatist but they’re going to simply park everything behind the ball and defend, the likelihood of us breaking through is very slim.

Watching the replay of the goal just leaves me screaming at Burn again. Same as the Leicester, Arsenal and Wolves goals - that was amateurish defending.

I don’t blame White for that at all, not sure what more he could have done, same as Sanchez. But Burn was diabolical.

Off target again. Still not tested the keeper in over half an hour. Tippy tappy bollox side to side and no result.

We are so boring at times. All fur coat and no knickers. We just do nothing with in the final third. Game after game. It was always going to be the case against Palace. Could have cleared my mortgage years ago betting on us to feck things up against them. If we’d won the Champs League and Palace were a no league side, Palace would still be favourites. Inept passionless performance and we deserve to go down if we lose this and Fulham catch us. Decking sick of these crap finishing performances. Quite incredible how bad in front of goal we are.

Apart of this is that our shape comes undone against teams who park the bus, because we have to pass and move to try and open teams up. Unfortunately, we have a team with the creativity and goal scoring threat of a dead dog.

Well because the better teams play to win. They don’t play every man behind the ball. It’s a completely different type of game.
