Decent performance from most today. Very unlucky.

Very disappointing result. Hard to take. We were the better team again.

The biggest failure of the season was our failure to sign a striker. We would be comfortable if we had an outlet in the opposition box.

Palace just done what they have been doing all season, people go on about Zaha but he really is not as good as he is made out to be, whereas Gary Cahill is, a brilliant signing, he does for them what Bridge done for us.
Without Cahill they would be below us.

Well, maybe they are right, Potter said he didnt need reinforcements up top... we all know he did, so he carries the can aswell as the profligate strikeforce and lethargic wingers.

He’s Not Mourinho , going public pressuring the board for SINGINGS

So I’d take what he says in public with a pinch of salt

We never believed we were gonna score. If Maupay misses we seem to shit it. March's miss was the worst. Him, Trossard and many others are not the players for the big occasions.

So incredibly bored of this set of players, barely any of them are good enough.

It’s actually a better squad than last year, as the 70 mill spent indicates. But there is just no pattern or plan in our play. I’m afraid the velvet bag approach to selection shows Potter doesn’t know his best team, his best gameplan, his best way of winning games.

There are always unexpected results at the business end of the season....we might get a couple of wins, it's not over yet but I wouldn't bet against us going down now.

Do you think we have the character in our team to do this? ...

There are 8 worse goals against and 7 worse goals for in the PL so far.
Today we had 24 attempts on goal and they had only 3 on target. That, to me, isn’t a disgrace - it’s about what I would expect with a club aspiring to get to mid table.
The only problem we have is beating the goalkeeper. Maupay with seven and own goals as second highest scorer says it all. We create but don’t score. If we are lucky to survive this season then the boat needs pushing out.

Can’t work out if it’s primarily the players or the manager at fault.
It’s too late to sack potter now.
If we don’t find a higher gear than we have shown so far this season we are definitely down.

It doesn't have to be either the player's or manager at fault. We played well today, but lost because we didn't score. Ultimately I think we are now going down, but I don't really blame anyone, three teams have to go down.

I was surprised he went to Palace and a bigger club didn't sign him.

For example, Arsenal would have been better off with Cahill instead of David Luiz.

Knockaert is better more often, and more up for the fight than Trossard. Andone maybe a dick but he's a goalscorer we need. Other clubs manage idiots, we can't and send them away

Could have been so different but we just misfired in front of goal. Too many wasted chances/poor shots/wrong final ball.

That isn't a surprise to anyone surely, has been happening since the season started, and for that matter in the 2nd half of last too.

Dunk was the only player who looked like scoring, and Maupay blocked it!

He's our top scorer. If we drop him where are the goals going to come from?

Some people are clueless, Maupay is a fantastic player but never has been allowed to build decent partnerships with other players

Never to late.... But Theres no guarantees.
If there was a guarantee that one of the usual suspects could keep us up. Would you?
