Good man, I know the Magpie brewery, Ken, who passed away, and the other guys - is one of them Nick? Think I was at school with his daughter. Had a polypin thing from them last Xmas.

Yea nice guys, I never met Ken, his son has taken over, nice bloke. Nick is a great guy. They're very traditional, they won't use american hops (which i always use). They do some really nice brews though. Blonde and thieveing rogue are delicious!

maybe it's just me but this feels like another pretty disjointed first half performance. of course, the difference is that a flash of class has given us the lead and, well, we're not exactly playing Liverpool are we? i expect the final score to reflect our usual second half dominance.
