That challenge was nowhere near as bad as the one on O'Riley

Just furious about O’Riley. Fucks sake :( :(
When you see a tackle like that, I can't blame someone for thinking "clubs should be able to sue each other for that kind of thing".
I understand why they can't and I'm not saying it would be a good idea. But that was a deliberate attempt to injure, which probably would have been criminal in another context. And it's cost the club the use of an asset they just spent tens of millions of pounds on. Just seems kinda wrong that the final whistle is the end of the matter.

Nice to see 4 goals from us - but not a fine performance from most, imo.

Thuggish Creepy team, back to the depths you go.

Real shame for O'Riley, anticipating news of his injury/recovery and fingers crossed.

Sussex, by the sea
good result relative to the performance, but impossible to enjoy in the knowledge that we probably won’t see an exciting new signing who would’ve taken our midfield to a new level for significant while, all because some snide thug wanted to ruffle a few feathers on his big day out
with any luck he'll slip over on the way to the car park.
