As I couldn’t buy my usual EU seat I had to go for the lower tier. Bought one in the back row to get a decent overview of the pitch but then realised I was looking at the seating plan the wrong way and have actually bought a ticket in the very front row. Quite annoyed but hey, maybe I’ll be able to share the excitement of all the kids who like to be pitchside. I’ve spent the morning preparing my “Rutter can I have your shirt please” sign which has cheered me up.

I can’t think of one. It’s the Croydon of Sussex. The only good thing to come out of Crawley is The Cure.
