First win against Chelsea in FA Cup since 1933.

Tentative first half by both teams like boxers circling in the ring, both afraid to make the first punch. Awful mishap by Bart put us on the back foot but I thought we were so much improved in the second half with better defending and with Baleba back, much more comfortable in MF than we were at Forest.

I think we made the Chelsea side look quite pedestrian at times with their Potterball possession and tappy, tappy in the final third - Cucu wearing his frustration on his sleeve was hilarious to watch.

I’m looking forward to a repeat win at the Amex next Saturday - don’t care how we do it tbh.

Now the post-match interview's done, I'd love Fab to go in the changing room, let off some steam and just celebrate with the team.

Great performance by the lads and he orchestrated it.

Fabian in his post match int has said “trust the process” three times. He has also said that “the fans don’t overreact” to a big defeat or to a big win 😅😅😅😅
Remember - you get the extremes on here. Vast majority of fans don't react like a few of the muppets on here who always shout the loudest as soon as we lose a game (they'll be crying tonight)

Question

Was that the best performance and result of the season?

I don't bother with watching interviews and press conferences - but as this is on 'actual telly' I did. And to be honest, I wondered what all the sour comments about Fab are. He came across as a thoughtful, interesting chap - well-grounded and with a good understanding of what this club is about.

No problems from me.

In fairness, we'd only played them three times, but I like the stat.

Well, I have to say that was a massive improvement on last week. Huge commitment from the team and some really good performances. Rutter, Lamptey and minteh were great. Also, and what a boost this is, Gomez looks a player at this level. Hinshelwood, Baleba back as well as Ayari and now Gomez plus Gomez gives us extra some more physical presence.
Just the morale boost we needed and fair play to FH, he had the players right back on it, had some nice tactical moves playing Lamptey slightly forward and good substitutions.
I gave him some real grief on NSC after last week and very happy to say well done to him too.

I think some people just like bitching and also forget that English isn’t his first language… oh, and did I mention, they like bitching!!!?
