Another day that late Maupay shot goes in and we grab all 3 points.

Well played Albion, and Ali J... stunning goal. So happy for the lad.

Brighton are a load of dirty cheating scumbags. Chelsea were by far the most SUPERIOR side and yet again get CONNED out of 3 point

Mr (scrabble hand)’s goal was a good finish but BLATANTLY a fluke.

Brighton are down by April, hopefully it’s Palace that do it to them.

Horrible Horrible team
We must all bow to these superior sides and not cheat them out of a deserved 3 points by matching their play over 90 minutes
Ali J's goal was lucky for chelsea. They were lucky he wasn't on the pitch from the start, he might have fluked another
Who's April? This paddy pantsdown is obviously an uneducated, embittered little shit who didn't get the black hoodie he wanted for Christmas

BBC sport match report "the seagulls were poor for most of the match" and "earned an unlikely point". Load of drivel :lolol:

Or is it in reality 4-5-1, if everyone’s in agreement that Maupay cuts a completely isolated figure?

(The same as Muzza in CH’s 4-5-1’s).

To a degree it was both. It was primarily to cut the passing lanes off to their full backs to get us back into the game I’d say. It worked, I’m just surprised it didn’t happen earlier.

What a goal for AJ and the near assist to Connally and Maupay (great goalie saves but Maupay should have done better) and all done in 20 minutes of game time. I love GP and he is a great coach, but he was completely wrong about AJ. How did he nearly destroy AJ’s confidence and career by not playing him for 18 of our games this season? Is Gross that much better? Strange the way Potter handled AJ but so happy that he finally saw the light.

Yep, I saw it different from you. I thought Propper was pants but got better, Bissouma not so good........off for Connolly

And that’s fair enough. Alzate and Bissouma really struggled in the shuttling roles first 30 minutes for me as both got crowded out in possession as they had a direct opponent and then both struggled defensively to know when to shift across to cover their full backs. I blame Potter’s system for that primarily though.

Yep, agree with that last bit

Have to say I disagree, I think GP has handled him perfectly - took him out of the limelight when his confidence after last season was completely shot, given him time to get used to the new style, then put him in when he's ready.

Or Jahanbakhsh wasn’t quite ready, so this was excellent man-management by Potter.

The player hasn’t looked a forlorn figure, treated like dirt.

Rode our luck a bit today, Chelsea couldn’t kill the game off, and we snatched a point or possibly could’ve been more. Plus Ali scored a worldly.

Not a bad day at the office.
