Well played Burnley, deserved the win today. Feels like we’re headed for one of those long spells without a win that we sometimes go on.

Frustrating.

Did we actually have a shot on target today? I can't remember Pope making a save.

Only Duffy I think.
We make such hard work of even getting a shot away then if we do it's row Z

We need something different in home games. The stats, heat maps etc prove we play very similarly home and away. It unquestionably works away where against the better teams we often look the best footballing team in the league, but we absolutely stink at home. Much to work on.

Potter got found out today - out thought by Sean Dyche - wrongly considered a dinosaur by some. I'm spitting blood - when you think how much these guys get paid and they turn in such a clueless, passionless performance. There has always been a massive question mark over Potter - does he understand that to win games you have to score goals. He's been here nearly 3 seasons now and they remain as toothless now as when he took over. Can he ever solve the lack of goals issue ? Really the evidence does not look encouraging.

Disagree. Next..

I thought storm useless(t) was over, how wrong I was. Didn't the ref check before kickoff that Burnley had too many players on the field or BHA had too few. Very poor game from our point of view. This game is best forgotten.

I agree he's got questions to answer but we've scored more in Potter's seasons than we did in Hughtons.

Suggests to me the problem, as we've all known for a while, is we don't have tooany players capable of regularly finding the net. And that's been a problem since our first PL season.

Get a life.. it’s all part of supporting a team. Maybe just maybe booing doesn’t help? Maybe they know it was poor, maybe they need some help..

I'm not saying it’s not part of "supporting the team" - I merely gave an explanation as to why our support would feel inclined too boo at half-time

We looked like a championship side today. The whole team was off and badly. No desire, fight or energy which is a necessity when playing Burnley. Too many players thought we could just turn up and win. Hopefully Potter will have them in for extra training tomorrow and start on basics again. As Gus Poyet once used to say far too much "flicky flicky" (and tricks) at times. That's ok when winning 3-0 but not at other times. A very bad day at the office
