It’s such a shame, especially as we genuinely played so well the other night ... but; it’s not over yet and this can happen at this level... perhaps we gave too much at old Trafford, or too little today ? One thing’s for sure, if we don’t start working harder - we will probably lose.

Honestly? I'd bring Bissouma off for Caicedo. He's been poor again. Let Caicedo have a go and maybe Ferguson for Welbeck as he has done nothing except lose the ball. Mac again uncharacteristically poor. Hopefully Potter gets them to pick themselves up and get a draw. When was the last time we scored 3 in one half?

North Stand has turned into the match thread quite toxic from a minority of fans, although they do seem to be new fans who aren't usually here

Yeah. a bit pants. The championship side had the rub of the green but it's all too pedestrian.
Might as well shoot on sight now, stop piddling about trying to pass it in

Having been at OT on Tuesday and seen how well we played. That first half is a mystery.

We were so bad it’s unreal. Can’t help thinking not having no first choice central defenders has helped but we’ve been poor going forward as well.

We cannot possibly be as bad as that in the second half. Really annoying how well Burn played for Newcastle as well.

Potter needs to gamble on one of the young ones to make it a back three, this is getting us nowhere.

Still have faith though, early goal in the second and the momentum will shift.
