Whats the plain talking?

The fact we are pleasing on the eye but offer nothing every sodding game.

If Maupay was half as quick to shoot as he is to have an argument we might win.

Brighton - they passed 100 Premier League shots for the season in this game. Only Liverpool have had more. They rank sixth in the league for possession too.

Slightly ridiculous to suggest we offer nothing every game when only Liverpool have had more shots. Yeah, it's bloody annoying they aren't converted into goals, but just because they aren't doesn't mean people can just make stuff up - like you're doing!

If u think solly 3 good game in 7 years is the answer that that explains what’s wrong with half our support clueless !

Tell me, I'm genuinely interested: 'What's wrong with half our support?'

Should we all be spitting incoherent rage at strangers when we don't win a game against a good defensive side that came to defend? If so, could you also explain how that helps 'support' the team.

Our inability to cross the ball sensibly is soooooooooo frustrating.

They have a 6ft 6 goalie and huge centre halves and we kept lumping into the box high (or out of play) .:ffsparr:

On another night they will. One thing I’ll give that hideous Burnley side credit for is they know how to defend doggedly. The centre halves were good. Threw themselves in front of everything.

Interesting that handball wasn’t given on review (the second one) given the amount we’ve seen this season, but glad there were no major talking points and VAR shite like many of our games.

I’m disappointed but at least we didn’t lose and at least we played some nice stuff again and dominated the game.

Kind of typical VAR sorts itself out temporarily for our game. No complaints at all about the decisions.

Now that i've calmed down, MOTM to Tarkowski & Mee. They single handedly won their team a point. We just couldn't break them down.

However, Potter please stop with these short corners. Enough is enough now.
Tarkowski and Mee were MOTM candidates for heading everything away. So we should have put corners straight in rather than taking short corners?

It's difficult to know where the problem lies tough - we've got CBs that win the headers in our penalty area, but are totally ineffectual in the attacking penalty area; lord knows why though - so short corners may have been justified (for once) tonight, except that our short corners are the fastest way to get the ball back to Ryan.
Centres from open play would be useful - the likes of Wellbeck and Lallana are good in the air, especially when the defence aren't quite as well set as they are for corners - but when we get in a position to do that, we stop, turn round, and pass it infield or backwards. Collectively, as a team, we have some awful habits to break. Potter has got his work cut out, because some of them are ingrained.

Could you explain how 4/5 wins in 25 games is helping ?
Spitting rage ? Or just pointing out the obvious ?
Well it seems half the support are classed as lickers or bedwetters ?
Which are you on yet another typical potter performance and where do you see another 35 points comming from if you can’t beat two teams in bottom three?

Never ceases to amaze me how folk still resort to emotional outbursts after frustrating performances then off sage like advice about everything that is wrong with the team. Often after a positive assessment of prospects at the start. Is there not a stage at which one grows out of that ?

If one of those chances had gone in tonight most of those folk would suddenly be crowing. It's like all reason leaves the noodles when Albion play.

Frustrating tonight. Some great individual and team moments. Struggled to break down their defence.

On to the next match.

Sadly we are but human. We lash out in trump style when things don’t go our way

Well at least we could defend and the results are not much difference play well no points play boring no points

So you admit we’re playing better then. Ultimately, we’re always going to struggle to do more than stay up every year with the budgets we have. At least Potter is trying to do it the right way.

“At least we could defend”? Three games without Dunk and we’ve actually defended INCREDIBLY well in my opinion.

Play as pretty football as you like but football is about scoring goals and winning matches the table don’t lie it’s another season in bottom 6

My mistake I'm sure I saw Poke not making a save all game, must watch a different stream.

What exactly do you expect with a bottom three budget?

We've played a game more than any other team. Based on the averages so far, another 6-7 teams will have had 100 shots by the end of their 8th game

Bottom three position?

Exactly, so we’re punching above our weight. It all comes down to realistic goals. Stay up, hope to build.

We having to shop in the bargain basement because unless we’re certain, we can’t afford to risk another Locadia.
