I only saw the second half and thought we looked poor. Too many wasted crosses, gave the ball away too easily again and showed little urgency. Well played Matty Ryan, saved us a point.

We were the better side overall, but could've lost it without some Ryan heroics.

Frustrating as we certainly created enough to win it.

That striker can't come in soon enough.

The most curious thing..
Quote on 5live half time review "Brighton don't score many, and Burnley don't concede many" sums it up.

Our midfielders don't even look to slot a through ball onto a runner in the last third of the pitch.
A minute after Izqierdo came on he made a run across the centre of the box. Stephens didn't see it although there was a huge space to put the ball into.
It went sideways instead.
Brown did the same in extra time. I'm talking obvious passes not general chancing balls.
Never mind new forwards. They'll be wasted unless our midfielders get their heads up or we manage to pick up a couple.

This is the premier league.
This is our first season in the premier league.
We've held our own against a side in the premier league.
Guess what? We're staying in the premier league

Still 13th and can't see B'muff beating Liverpool so will stay 13th.
Too many sideward passes when players make space to pass forward, must be in the remit, nighty night.

Missed chances again, too many games now and today we had the best of chances and we could not take that either.
Better performance but if we don't start taking those chances we are going down.
But I am sure Chris and the club know that all too well.
Very disappointed as it should have been 1-0, irrespective of how Burnley played and we should have had another penalty.
Two points dropped, my piss is boiling.
And now ginger nuts is going to big them up and slag us off, the pissmidget.

The first three parts are correct. The last is debatable. It feels like Swansea won't have enough about them. Stoke and The Toon aren't offering a great deal. You may have the three teams you need right there but this is now going to be a long hard slog to the finish line. It is imperative that we sign a striker in January. There can be no hiding from that fact as it is the one position above all others that will come to define our season.

Another disappointing home draw. Trying to be positive, after our last few results I'll try to see this as stopping the rot.

Keep the faith chap, we have a point and no goals conceded.
We started the season off quite well, have had a blip of sorts and now we have something to build on again.
(Yes I know Murray missed a penalty, but that's fodder for the Jan window striker guru's)
