He was taken off at half time on the first game of the season at Southend. He then worked on his kicking and got back in the team.

Which is very bad news for the Watford and WBA right backs. Skalak the destroyer is back.
I remember it well. Zamora had played the previous season on loan but that was the first game after we paid for him. Kuipers was indeed subbed but no-one really knows why as far as I know. His kicking was certainly not the reason we were 2 down at half time.
