Well deserved win. I thought at time penalty award was fortunate. Just seen a replay and still looks like 2 players just bustling for the ball and weaker one going down. Anyway deserved to win Adringa outstanding just a pity his final ball in first half was poor

VAR decision. Can't actually see if the blue line was drawn from the ball - which isn't in shot.

If you compare the position of the ball relative to the edge of the 6 yard area before the VAR shot (that doesn't show the ball), it looks like the line is not drawn from the further forward part of the ball.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I sterling effort. You can't help but play teams in the condition they're in. Just as you can't help but make best of a squad semi-floored by injury. 4 centre backs. A clean sheet. A top display by our 1 remaining wideman, and determination to make something happen from depleted numbers. Not much else can be asked.
Proud and pleased and relieved.

Worthing
I can’t for the life of me work out why Villa were so shy today. Why ?

That was a much better experience at the Amex than for weeks - we should have scored more (especially the offside goal) - but the attitude was the right one from the beginning and especially so in the second half. Happy to be there, nice people around us in the ground and super fast out from the car park (ok, we left before the end of injury time).
The half empty experience is so much more enjoyable than the full one!

Adingra would have got my MOTM if all his shots hadn’t looked like back passes. Wee Billy MOTM for me, spraying the ball around and getting stuck in. Lost a couple due to the Villa player being much bigger and tougher. Quality feet

Well that was much better Welbeck Webster Dunk put in fine performances as did Adingra but the game changer was the introduction of Ensico
Enciso is such a prime piece of quality. Spinning players, direct, shooting on site. Players like that, Mitoma, March etc, quality chess pieces, change our level immediately. I know it's obvious but sometimes you can simplify it. Much better players change games massively.

Shout out to Barco too who looks really wily and good on the ball even if he looks about 13
