Arsenal very physical and for all Ayari, adingra and Gruda’s technical ability they are getting outmuscled.
We need Mitoma, Rutter and Minteh to give us more physicality.
Really poor goal to concede. Pervis has been poor and I liked the fact that Joao Pedro was having a go at him.
Having said this, before the goal I thought we looked ok and it was just one really poor defensive movement from us that allowed them to score.
Last five minutes got really spicy which I liked. How did the ref miss the foul by Rice on Ayari. Clearly a foul if not a booking.

Worst performance from Albion I’ve seen in a longtime. What IS the plan? Why are we so slow in bringing play forward? Is there running in this team? Do they even practice shooting? Lots of players with nice red boots, but no players putting in more than a four out of ten performance. The season is drifting and dribbling away, isn’t it?

It's like there's a magnetic force field around their goal and it deflects any shots out for throw ins!
We keep playing through midfield to a player with their back to goal and surrounded by 2 or 3 arsenal players then lose it.
Need to get better final third.

This has been a really horrible match. Arsenal take almost a minute over every set piece but only one booking (and won’t be another). Our keeper with an awful attempt at saving and our attempts at goal have been laughable.

We are so slow from the back and leave huge holes in midfield. We got away with it early season but not now.

We need some luck.

That said I am back us at 17.5/1 to win. I love burning fivers.

I really hope Liverpool win the league. Arsenal are just so unlikable.

But this is standard Adingra against strong opposition, ultimately he’s not good enough.

It’s annoying me watching him, Gruda and O’Riley playing - all totally ineffectual - knowing we’ve got Rutter, Minteh and Mitoma sat on the bench. Just want the first half to end and those three, who should have started, to come on ASAP.

The benefit is giving them minutes because the squad needs to have continual roll out of developing players but we need Adingra, Gruda and O’Riley off and Rutter and Mitoma need to come on very early in the second half to get more intensity in the forward areas.

Will be pissed off if FH leaves it until 70 minutes.

However, I honestly don’t know how we are supposed to bed these young players in without the match minutes though - if we don’t give them enough match time to develop then people will rightly complain in a years time, we wasted nearly £2 mil on players in the summer window of 2024/5 who still look shit when they come face to face with Champions League level teams Then those same fans will start demanding they go out on loan.

Ryan was a better keeper than Bart, Sanchez was a better keeper than Bart. Steele is about the same as Bart. When was the last time we came away from a game thinking Bart has made some good saves today? It’s not even the mistakes playing out from the back or the odd clanger, he’s not a very good shot stopper!

He does remind me of Raymond Clemence Liverpool and England, he is all about the flair unlike your Shilts and Banks.
