Wow. That is the shittest shot I have ever seen a Brighton player do (and yes I was at the Goldstone, Priestfield, Withdean etc). For the love of God, coach them to play with their weaker foot.

Pervis, Gruda, Baleba only use their right foot for standnig on. It's incredible really.

The front four are making runs whenever we have the ball in the Arsenal half, but all we do is pass it sideways.

It's not a surprise or a slight losing to Arsenal (albeit weakened), obviously, but the shape of the team, the same defensive mistakes happening over and over and the general air of chaos is concerning. We win the ball, build up ridiculously slowly, allow them to organise themselves and inevitably end up getting pushed all the way back to the keeper. They get forward quickly and put the ball in the back of the net at the first opportunity.

Injuries obviously don't help but to me we don't look like a side that just needs a few tweaks or a bit of luck, the issues look deeper. I don't get what the vision is here at all.

30 minutes in and we haven’t had a single chance. If you think that’s acceptable fine but for the majority of us it’s absolutely not.

We did have had a very good chance but we failed to convert. That’s not being clinical enough in front of goal. When we create so few chances in a match we really have to maximise them when we can.

O’Riley needs to come off and we need Rutter on to beef up that CAM.

Adingra has slipped twice and missed 2 good chances

But this is standard Adingra against strong opposition, ultimately he’s not good enough.

It’s annoying me watching him, Gruda and O’Riley playing - all totally ineffectual - knowing we’ve got Rutter, Minteh and Mitoma sat on the bench. Just want the first half to end and those three, who should have started, to come on ASAP.
