I'm starting to feel a bit more confident about this, getting a vibe that we may see a similar story to our game at the Emirates last season.

3-0 perhaps? 🤔

we are far more suited to teams coming on to us no low block rubbish goals a plenty and with our home form grind a draw 2-2

In a way, this is similar to Wednesday where the away team is far superior (whether Brighton are that much better than Brentford is arguable though).
But the tactics will be so different. Brentford put 11 men behind the ball for 80 minutes of the game, attacking on the break with fast runs from the back.
Today Brighton wont play with 11 defenders, instead we will go for the win at any cost.

In our game earlier in the season they completely dominated us better than any other team has done this season. It should have been a much wider margin of victory.

Sure they might bottle the title but I don't expect us to get anything here with half our players out, unable to score and out of form.

2-1 to Brighton then.

The phrase “free hit” is overused but this is one. They need the win, our season is all but over.

I plan on spending the day in a slightly alcoholic stupor and laughing a lot. Anything else is a bonus.

No idea what to expect today, could get pummelled or could be exactly the sort of game where we pull off an improbable win. As others have said, a bit of a free hit. Whatever happens it will certainly be tough.

When thinking about the game this morning my first thought was 'well at least the injury situation is starting to clear up' but then immediately had to correct myself as realised we still have 7 first team players missing and at least 2 more where we're managing their minutes. To have Mitoma, March, Milner, Webster, Ferguson, Gilmour, and Hinshelwood injured (all of who could feature in a starting 11) and have a few more where they cant manage a whole match is just insane. Yes we have other replacements but that weakens us substantially, and takes away our ability to refresh things in the second half. Madness.

Sussex but not by the sea
They have the best CB pairing in the league IMO and Rice in front.
I can’t see us scoring from open play given our winger injuries and Adringa starting to look tired and TBH also looking like our 3rd choice winger lately. If Pedro is out too then FML
We have to make set pieces count today, are you reading this Pascal?!
