I think that's a tad generous to credit it MacAllister with creating that goal. He played a straight 5 yard pass. For me, it was Connolly's flick that made the goal.

Both! If Mac hadn't shouted 'go go go' then Propper would have let it go out of play...instead he flicked it over his head to Mac, who turned and passed 5 meters (if you like!) , Maupay dummy, Connolly flick, Maupay shot...goal!!!
Yes, fantastic play by both Maupay and Connolly, but if Mac hadn't shown the initiative we'd have never seen that goal (best team goal for a long while IMHO).

I really wanted Potter to succeed but there's no master plan, no strategy, no "journey". He throws stuff at the wall to see what will stick. I'd be amazed if some of our players aren't as nonplussed by the constant bizarre selections as we are.
