Yep, I feel the same. He's often on the bench, so I presume his Covid didn't set him back much. He created that winning Maupay goal versus Arsenal, so maybe we'll see him today ?

well.....i don't think trossard really did much on sunday so if Alimac is fit then i'd give him a start with Bissouma , propper march in midfield....our current midfield and forwards aren't on the same page for large stretches of the game imho. Maybe even give Maupay a rest and give connolly a go if fit as the former didn't do an awful lot on sunday either ......or start with LLana if fit but straight swap for Alimac early 2nd half if he lasts....i know Maupay needs to get his mojo back but i think he equally needs a kick up the derriere....come on , lets have a go at these feckers.

Brighton have won just once in 13 league fixtures, drawing seven and losing on five occasions.

Seventeen points from 15 games represents Brighton's worst start to a Premier League season.

Their sole home win in 16 league matches in 2020 was June's 2-1 victory over Arsenal. They have drawn eight times and suffered seven defeats.

Bloody hell, that's depressing.

On the contrary, seventeen points from fifteen games sounds bloody wonderful to me - much better than I thought we were doing!

I wouldn`t drop Maupay now he`s remembered where the goal is , it could give Connelly a boost to break his bad run , so i`d start them both with Welbeck .

I fancy us today. Reckon Arsenal might be a bit too buoyed by the last result. They have good players undoubtedly but they haven't suddenly become a good team. And Xhaka won't be doing that again for a while.

I think that's a tad generous to credit it MacAllister with creating that goal. He played a straight 5 yard pass. For me, it was Connolly's flick that made the goal.

2am kick off here, I prefer the later, around 8pm kick offs, what with the time difference now I wake up to get a chunk of the second half.

I tip my hat to you sir, I don't think I'd bother doing that at the moment in your situation

As I said in the prediction theead which I thought was this one - ordinarily I would feel quite confident we would beat this Arsenal side but I do worry the extra day’s rest will help them a lot so think we’ll do well to get a draw.

I expect to see a number of changes with the likes of Veltman, Alzate, AJ and Connolly starting.

This. Quite a few posters were crediting him with that. Propper’s classy pass to him from the throw was better as was Maupay’s dummy and finish and Connelly’s flick. I prefer Mac to Jahanbaksh but when is NSC gonna see that neither have the attributes to help us. No pace, no power and can’t take people on.

Lol if seventeen points makes u depressed then the 13 we have must make u suicidal! . I think they were meant to be referring to Arsenal's 17

Gamble: take risky action in the hope of a desired result.

I'm not sure Bloom has made his fortune backing rookie managers.

But it was forwards and quick - two of the things missing recently!

Without that defence splitting pass we wouldn’t have even created the chance for Maupay. It was a well worked TEAM goal
