[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs AFC Bournemouth *** Official Match Thread ***

Probably slightly fortunate to have a clean sheet there, a few mistakes not punished. Bmuff move the ball well and our midfield are having to do a lot of chasing. Apart from Ali J’s hallelujah moment, nothing clinical up front

We’re going to have to be better second half

Duffy is out of position and so off the pace, he needs to come off.

Yeah he looks like a fish out of water. I’d be very tempted to bring Webster on for him at half time, we’re missing him.

It’s also noticable Duffy doesn’t look for space to recieve the ball like Dunk, Webster and Burn do and the other players are definitely not as confident passing the ball to him.

It's 433 with Propper in the middle, Mooy on the left and Biss on the right. Maupay as CF with Trossard and AJ either flank.

I’ve had a good look and I think Bissouma is deeper than that, just IMHO like

Mooy has been excellent again, Pröpper and Bissouma have been great too. Maupay working hard and hopefully a goal will come for him, AJ looking good, really got me in the feels when he scored.
Montoya has been iffy and Duffy too slow. Ryan makes me nervous but he's made a couple of good saves.

We've waited 17 months for anything and he's scored the fastest goal for Albion in the Premier League.

And anyone who turned up 3 minutes late missed it.

It's a cruel game.

I thought Duffy generally seemed OK, apart from one moment he got a bit mugged.

He’s made one clumsy mistake but has been otherwise decent. Burn and Montoya twice have also given the ball away in danger areas. I’m not overly confident that Webster is someone you bring on to lower the error rate
