Very controlled performance.
Kept the ball very well so didn’t have to expend too much energy. In fact at times it looked like a training session.
Chance to use subs too.
Will still need good performances away at Ajax and Athens.

What happens if we beat AEK 3-2 in the away game and then end the group on equal points
  1. Points in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
  2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
  3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
  4. If more than two teams were tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams were still tied, all head-to-head criteria above were reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
  5. Goal difference in all group matches;
  6. Goals scored in all group matches;
  7. Away goals scored in all group matches;
  8. Wins in all group matches;
  9. Away wins in all group matches;
  10. Disciplinary points (direct red card = 3 points; double yellow card = 3 points; single yellow card = 1 point);
  11. UEFA club coefficient.

Might get a T shirt with that on. Just in case I get old and lose my memory.

Like the look of their right back. And their left centre back is 17 years old looks like he’s a great prospect. Other than that they were really poor and you can see why they are second bottom of an awful league

Issue with Ajax is, any player brought up from the Academy worth their saltor any decent player is gone within a year / 2 years, they don't have the financials like the prem to keep younger players to progress, they have to sell. Quite heart braking if you're an Ajax fan.
Bruno how it is though, money talks

(Same for us)

A magical night for Brighton

These are moments to treasure for Brighton fans.

Back in 1994-95, as Ajax were winning a fourth European Cup, Brighton had just completed another campaign in the third tier of English football, finishing 16th.

Facing such illustrious opponents - albeit in a difficult moment in their history - highlights the progress the Seagulls have made over recent years and fans packed out the stadium on Thursday for what was undoubtedly the hottest ticket in town.

The atmosphere was superb before kick-off, as supporters were encouraged to wave their scarves in the air - but they then had to be patient once the game got under way.

Ajax, who are second bottom in the Eredivisie after the worst start to a season in their history, sat deep in order to frustrate their opponents - and it almost worked until a moment of magic from Mitoma got the breakthrough.

Brighton picked their way through the packed defence before the Japan forward cut inside and hammered a shot that was parried to Pedro, who fired home.

From then on the home side grew in confidence and Fati's fine second-half goal ensured Brighton fans could confidently celebrate this moment in history.

Ok we won but what a boring Game , a waste of two hours !
But the thing is with us, it might be a slow game without much happening - but the way we play, it could always explode and we'll be suddenly two down (or the opposite). That's what keeps us gripped.

First clean sheet in 16 games. Ian Darke is a good commentator and knows his stuff. Even talking about some of the Brighton players that are injured currently.

Thats easy, overall GD.

But what if we beat them 2-1 and end on same points, where our side by side GD is 0.

3 points each, GD 0, AEK scored 4 (3 away), Brighton scored 4 (2 away)

Is it still then overall GD ?
