Given our propensity to play badly against teams at the bottom of the table after a high scoring win the previous week, I almost dread to tempt fate.

We have such a lack of consistency (which separates us from the top clubs) this game could go completely awry. Everton need every point they can get, badly, and if we fail to score early we could be facing a tough battle to break through a low block if Everton decide to come for a point. Luton face Man City in the week and AV next, so Everton could put some daylight between themselves and Luton this week to give themselves a breathing space.

1:1 😕
They came for a point last season, it’s what Dyche ALWAYS does, however we gifted them a goal within 2 minutes through very sloppy play (Mitoma?) then overcommitted to try to equalise quickly and got picked off. From memory they scored with every attack, it was like the WHU game in August. I just can’t see RDZ underestimating them again.

After last week's drubbing of Sheffield Utd, confidence is boosted - mine and the Albion's - so I'm saying we'll win 3-1.

2-1 to the Albion , taking us past the magic 40 points mark and safe from relegation for another season . Phew ! 😟

Quite a few giddy predictions on here. Are people really forgetting that Everton have the joint 4th best defence in the league, and would be in 12th without the deduction? Also, sandpaper larynx.
Hoping for a tight, ugly 2-1 to Seagulls.
