We've got to be getting to the stage now where we have to start talking seriously about Connolly getting in the first team squad in the league. His goalscoring record in u23 is terrific.... and how many late goals does he score? He'd be just the poacher to bring on if we needed a goal

Step up is absolutely huge !! Be very surprised if he got a sniff, more likely to be loaned out for a bit

I thought it was a great game to watch. Blackburn started off strongly but once our 2 subs came on at half time we looked much stronger. I thought George Cox looked very good.

There were 3 older Blackburn fans behind me but part from celebrating their goal they didn't make a sound. Was funny seeing that Blackburn fan down the front respond to some teens goading him by calling them w@nkers and instantly getting told off by the steward.

Albion were much better in the second half. Do enjoy the U23 games but the lack of crowds or singing really is odd.
