Used to absolutely love all the fatties proudly strutting like peacocks in the new home kit at the Worthing pre-season friendly :lolol:
...having just bought them from the mobile shop that was parked up by the side of the pitch.

It'll still sell very well. Folk will buy any old tat.

I'd love us to produce a match home shirt based on the famous Bukta.

Well I like it. In the absence of anything truly innovative this is a perfectly decent blue and white striped shirt.

Still I am enjoying the performative outrage at its launch.
I don't know if it's performative outrage.

This is going to be one of the most pretentious sentences I ever commit to the NSC database but as someone with a burgeoning football shirt collection and an appreciation for the beauty of a well designed football kit; the Nike offerings are just dismal. There's no soul to them, no life. They play it safe, time and time again and not just with our kits.

I'm not outraged by it. It's just a bit shit, isn't it? The situation, I mean. Although I also do think the shirt is shit.

I think it is ok , better than the away shirt
having seen the away shirt being worn around town and really is not for me

Oh well that's saved me £60 they'd better get a shift on bringing back the 60s shirt or those that would of remembered it will be watching the games on the god channel.

6/10. It’s a bit meh but it’s so much better than last year or 20/21.

Well. Last year's was considered too different for most. Then there was the lockdown year where it was pretty much all blue

To be fair there's only so much they can change with stripes. I wouldn't be rushing out to buy this personally but being over 50 I'm a bit too old for wasting my money on such shirts. Plus they do look a bit stupid on middle aged men of a certain girth!

Dreading though the grand kids asking for one at Christmas though!

I didn't actually mind the pinstripe one. It's pretty hard to make what is essentially a one colour shirt look terrible.

So, in summary, some people like it, some people hate it and everyone else is pretty meh about it.

Same as every year, then

You've missed the bit where the club announce record kit sales.

...and also the bit where Japanese football tourists turn up at the Amex en masse throughout the season, and are bewildered at the lack of shirt availability..
