I liked it from day one! Controversial I know but plain stripes are boooorinngggg 😬
I remember ranting about how much I hated it - but ended up loving it...

I guess the home will be the same then, just with blue replacing the green and white replacing the black.
Wait, wait, wait… this thread about the away shirt is pure conjecture at this point, based on bedroom concept designs posted on Twitter.

And now we’re jumping to conclusions about the home shirt?!

Away kit is lime green with with 2 black stripes and home kit is plain blue sleeves and all white on back. Have a great source and don't doubt them.

Are we actually getting new kit this season, and if so, when?
Or are we a club that has noticed monetary pressures on fans and decided to pass this season?

Oh FFS! It's a shirt! A f***in' shrt! A f***in' football shirt. In terms of global politics, the refugee crisis, the war in Ukraine, the price of fish, the advancement of LGBT issues, Brexit and the Schleswig-Holstein question, it means f*** all.
Blue and white stripes. It's not rocket science.
If you have to stick little logos and sponsors' messages all over it, just f***in' get on with it. Stick 'em where you have to on a nice blue and whte striped shirt, snd don't pretend it's some sort of f***in' fashion design statement f***in' miracle. It isn't - it's just a football shirt!
£19.99 in Primark, and that would still be far more than the poor sods far to the east of us would get for making them. And frankly, even a half decent Primark blue and whte striped short should last at least 5 years of match-day wear!

I'm pretty sure that we'll have to wait until the US tour for a glimpse of a new kit. There may be a clue in the name of one of the locations.
There’s no way they will wait that long they will be on sale before the start of the tour

We will - I assume - get the kit before we play some friendlies, and after players are back (training starts on Monday I think) so they can do some media - so pretty imminent.
PS - only a handful of clubs put up their season ticket prices with lower increases than the Albion this season and Brighton had effectively keep theirs frozen up to and through Covid before that. . Hard to argue Albion unaware of monetary pressures on fans.

It got absolutely SLATED on here, but I think most people ended up liking it.
Once it’s familiar, you look past the ‘flaws’.

If I stop to think about it (which, er, I don’t) the middle yellow pinstripe is still odd.

That’s all well and good but when’s it out?

Well, yes, if the home shirt is blue and white stripes it will be satisfactory. Anyting else would be pants.

The away shirt is OK I suppose - but should only be worn when there is a genuine clash with the home team's colours that might cause confusion. So not required against Lverpool, United, City, Arsenal, Villa, West Ham, Burnley, Bournmouth, Brentford, Sheffield United, Forest, Palace and Wolves then............

For the people who have colour blindness Red and Green is the most common. That’s now taken into consideration for matches I believe.

If so, and assuming we keep the crimson then we may need a fourth kit?

I’m colour blind - red and green, etc.
We will not need a 4th kit however.
Being colour blind does not mean being blind.

The away game that I can see being an issue when we play away is Sheffield United due to the red/white stripes. Every other club that plays in solid red so we could wear blue and white for those games, although as someone who suffers from colourblindness the black stripe in our kit would mean there wouldn’t be as much of an issue working out who was who.

I once went to a game between Hibs in green and Aberdeen who wore their traditional red kit. Only way I could tell them apart from the white sleeves on the Hibs kit, nightmare 90 mins for me.

Fortunately for those with red/green colour blindness very few teams have green shirts (home kits anyway).
