I'm doing it. looking to improve upon my 1:43 last year. I stopped three (yes, three!) times for a piss last year so if I can control my bladder, I might sneak under 1:40.

I might just piss myself and save some time that way.

Weather looks ok, quite cold and not too windy

I'm sure you will sneak 1:40 if you can get your bladder under control. Good luck.

I intend to do one myself then. Local organisations often leaflet these events so I'll pick some stuff up and get back to you.

Other local running organisations normally leaflet this race...I will see what is handed out and get back to you. I want to do another in about 6 weeks. If I forget please PM me.

I'll be rocking a slightly fuller figure in a yello fleuro Nike top and long royal blue shorts.

I'll be running too - it's my first half marathon and I've set myself a target of 1hour 35 mins and below as i'm not sure what to expect from the course. Did the Great South run in 66:03 last October so I think that's realistic. I'll probably do Hastings Half and am already entered for the Reading Half in a fortnight.

...maybe a NSC runners club should be formed?

I took up running at the age of 46 just before Christmas and have a target of being ready for Bristol half-marathon in September (annoyingly the day AFTER my birthday), so maybe I should pencil in Brighton for 2009?

I'll be there. My first one as well, so I'll be lucky to limp home in 2hrs 30 I reckon.
