We did, but so have many other clubs. This has been done to death but we should've sold more tickets but then the game shouldn't have been a Monday night either. No credit really to anyone from the fans to the club to the FA, BT etc etc. Only people to come out of it with any credit was the team...

14,000+ on a Monday night to see our reserves up against Palace's at £25 a ticket? Excellent turnout if you ask me....

Reserves? Just because CH chooses not to rotate the squad much makes Kayal, Goldson, Uwe, Baldock and Schelleto reserves? I think you are disrespecting our squad.

Only lower league clubs show the FA Cup any respect, hoping for the windfall of playing big teams in the Premier League or the Championship, obviously that doesn’t include BHA. Everyone is always disappointed to draw us

No respect to Crystal Place of the behaviour of their so called fans last time.

Not much respect to their team as we only played the reserves. We did play Dale Stephens though.

Having the semi finals at Wembley, disrespects the cup! Having the final kick off at 5.30 pm for foreign TV disrespects the cup! Not having the final as the final game of the season (and played on a day league games are being played) disrespects the cup!

Who made these changes? Oh yes the money grabbing twats at the FA...............these are the idiots that are to blame for any disrespect for the FA Cup!

FAC is still recovering from the mortal wound inflicted when ManUre were INSTRUCTED to pull out so they cold play in some tin pot international festival and AGREED to do so.

More like the FA have shown no respect towards football in this country.
Agreed.
Especially as they sold out by insisting on replacing Wembley with such a hugely expensive stadium rather than moving to the centre of the country.

There is a similarity between the way United are blamed for starting the prostitution of football to Maggie Thatcher still being blamed for the state of the country in 2018

I hope you are not suggesting that everything that is wrong with this country is not the fault of Thatcher. I even hold her responsible for our lack of Eurovision wins.

Our crowds in the fa cup have been great compared to many and a dull Monday night is awful for many supporters to be honest.

And your problem with that is what exactly?

I think we've all wasted far too much time worrying about/discussing/dismissing other people's views of our attendance and how that reflects on us as supporters etc.. The facts are the facts - we do the same when the outside world wish to play down the rivalry between the clubs. It is our rivalry, our passion, our feelings - nobody else's. The game attracted the amount of people it did. Whatever the reasons, it was what it was for us. For those that went, it was enough of a draw at a price we could afford to warrant the hassle. For others it wasn't. We don't need to justify it to anyone, nor should we. Ironically, we will have made more of a statement about the reality of where the FA Cup sits alongside the other competitions than those Clubs that discounted prices and sold more tickets..

The FA Cup has sort of been in decline since the days, when the so called big clubs started to field under strength teams, when they've been concentrating in other more lucrative competitions.
You cannot blame the fans at all, it's just another excuse of the failure of the FA not standing up to the PL powerhouse.
The coverage of Albions FA Cup day, is as good as it gets, that's what it's all about.
Nowadays, the FA Cup comes up short IMO

This. The saddest part is that the FA is so perverse, deranged and backward in every way that it can't even see that
its own cup is disappearing up its ar*e.
