Petworth's a named destination but the next departure is 'local'. It does make me wonder at the definition of local if it doesn't apply to Petworth.

As I said Ben said it was all over twitter that 2 Man City planes landed there and I was just curious as we do not use it.

Pretty sure they flew from Biggin Hill as quite a few players posted selfies on social media from the private jet and the location was tagged as Biggin Hill. Assuming planes large enough to take first team and coaches etc would be too large for Shoreham especially seeing as Shoreham is right next to the training ground it seems silly to go to Kent to fly.

(EDIT: just for clarity this was in response to asking if Albion players flew from Shoreham for the away Newcastle match)

You've never heard of London Petworth International (LPI)?

. Assuming planes large enough to take first team and coaches etc would be too large for Shoreham

A plane large enough to take even one coach would be too big for Shoreham.

Can it take off again though?

I know the airport here on the Isle of Man, planes larger than an A319/320 (not sure on exact size though, certainly not 767/747 etc) can land but cannot take off due to length of runway.
