Much enjoyed McCarthys Bar and am about two thirds of the way through Road to McCarthy at the moment. The man is a genius and will be much missed.

and so say all of us! Mike at the Greys will be gutted. Last time I met him he wished me luck on my ideas of wtiting a book. It is shall we say still a work in progress. Anyone over 40 not writing a book.

RIP Pete

That's dreadful! I knew him from the Cliffhanger theatre group days with Robin Driscoll

Me too !
First met him at Shoreham Youth Workshop, trying to sell a brick !! (You needed to be there !!)
Lost touch over the years,he went on to fame and fortune, I went to Mile Oak !!

RIP Pete

This is a dreadfully tragic loss, at 52 way too young to die. The tragedy of cancer strikes again. Still, at least he led a full life and got to see the world.

I enjoyed McCarthys Bar and I am just about to read Road to McCarthy.

It's a sad loss.
