Worthing
It's a great thread this. It really hits the reason why teams struggle to juggle league and Europe. I used to think it was total horseshit, but it is a major distraction over and above the added physical pressure for the players.

Frankly I find it hard to be that bothered about the league games when a European game is just round the corner and I know I'm not alone.
But we want a bit more of this European stuff so unless we win it we want that 7th place in the league

Roberto seems to have his mojo back, Mitoma out but Enciso back (bench only).

He's just so cool. So he rotates a couple of players round for dinner at his each week. Brilliant.

I think juggling the PL and Europe will be fine. The players won’t be as hyper as the fans anyway. The problem will be the FA Cup. I really want us to give it a good go this year but we have Wolves, Fulham and Roma in 8 days. I’m hoping an inevitably weakened team in the FA Cup can get a result.

Ah if this is correct it’s about even - is the Dyche thing we have a slight myth..?

I hope he starts Pervis at home. He’s been a little shakey recently but I’d play him and maybe Veltman at full backs. Lamps and Simon on the wings if Mitoma is out…

As per the Argus, he is unbeaten in hi slast seven trips to the Amex. His overall record at the Amex is 3 wins, 5 draws and 2 defeats (both defeats were more than 10 years ago).

Mmmm maybe it’s not a myth then - what we all feel! I remember the Michael Keane header one the year they went up I think - sickener.

I’m exactly the opposite. The Premier League is the bread and butter that matters.
the European Stuff is the icing on the cake.
